A memorable and enjoyable evening was had last Friday evening in the RDS at our Annual Union Dinner, as we came together to celebrate community, tradition, and lifelong connections.

It was a pleasure to welcome such a strong gathering of Old Clongownians, along with many fellow Union Presidents, whose presence highlighted the enduring bonds and shared values across our school unions.

We were proud to recognise Fergal Gaynor as our Alumnus of the Year, a great showcase in what truly is a man for others. It was particularly special to see such a fantastic turnout from his year, OC ‘89, in support of his award.

It was also great to see an excellent representation from OC ’24, ‘21 & ‘20, adding to the energy and spirit of the evening.

Occasions like this are a powerful reminder of the strength of the Clongowes community and the friendships that continue long after school days. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the night such a success, we look forward to many more gatherings ahead.
