Over the last number of years, a concerted effort has been made by the Union to hold at least one of its functions outside of Dublin and Leinster. The annual black-tie Ball has been held in Limerick for the last couple of years, and this year it was in the Ardilaun Hotel, Galway.
Sincere thanks to John Ryan and his team for looking after us on what was a truly special event. It was attended by OCs from 1953 all the way to 2018, with parents of current pupils, and also parents of past pupils. A sumptuous meal was followed by music from a local live band, with a DJ taking us into the early hours. Long may this event continue and flourish into the future.
