Business Lunch

Paul Maher, President of Clongowes Union would like to invite you to The Clongowes Union Annual Business Lunch 2021. 

Subject to guidelines, we will be proceeding with our Annual Business Lunch in the Conrad Hotel on Friday 5th November.

Guest Speakers: Mick Dawson, CEO Leinster Rugby and Tomás O’Leary, Director of Rugby, CWC.

M.C: Michael Corcoran, R.T.E. Sport

After a short introduction by both speakers a Q & A session will be chaired by Michael Corcoran.

Mick Dawson played hooker for Lansdowne FC, whom he captained and coached at various levels for many years. He managed the Lansdowne 1st XV for three years and between 1998-2001 held the position of Director of Rugby. He has also represented Lansdowne on the First Division Clubs Association of the All-Ireland League. He was appointed as Chief Executive of Leinster in November 2001.

Tomás O’Leary is a former Irish rugby union player who played as a scrum-half. He played most of his career in Pro 12/Pro 14 rugby with Munster, where he was part of the team that won the Heineken Cup in 2006 and again in 2008. He represented Ireland internationally where he was a member of the team that won the 2009 Six Nations Championship and Grand Slam. In 2009 he was selected for the British & Irish Lions, though injury prevented him from touring with the squad. He retired from professional rugby in July 2017.
